The Role…

At Soho House the UK Head of Recruitment is responsible for leading and managing the Talent Acquisition process and maintaining efficient practices that create consistent results and a positive candidate experience. As the Head of Recruitment, you are responsible for identifying and securing top managerial / executive talent throughout our central support office and operations. Create bespoke talent solutions to support mass recruitment efforts, including but are not limited to; seasonal hiring, internship programs, department restructures and new openings.

A successful Head of Recruitment works well under pressure and in demanding environments. With proven experience training managers on best practices and hiring techniques and supporting the transfer application process (domestically/globally). In addition they will be responsible for vendor management, overseeing budget, career site/ATS management, compensation analysis, creating and delivering integrated marketing assets, maintaining legal compliance, external partnerships and university strategy.

Main Duties…

* Spearhead strategic innovation that shapes all foundational people processes through the right balance of employee experience, efficiency, employer branding, systems automation and economics
* Develop and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders across all departments domestically and across the globe; P&D, Legal, IT, Finance, Marketing, Membership and Operations
* Drive, measure, and consult on process optimization and effectiveness through diverse strategies that may involve Google Analytics, outsourcing, shared/self-service, content curation (SEO) and policy creation
* Evaluate and continue to enhance Soho House & Co. hiring practices and policies to establish effective and consistent results in identifying talent gaps and improving candidate experience.
* Own and manage the recruitment and hiring strategy for all new property openings as well as current property refreshes and internal transfer initiatives.
* Evaluate and identify university partnerships, career fairs, recruitment events and internship (MIT) programs
* Enforce D&I recruitment initiatives that focus on unbiased hiring practices to identify, acquire and hire top talent based off business goals, candidate experience and skill set
* Manage vendor communication and UX/UI for Soho House & Co. Career Site as well as Application Tracking System (ATS). Coordinate and participate in cross-functional testing/QA for system enhancements and troubleshooting
* Provide scalable, automated, effective hiring standards that support a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the prospective employee lifecycle
* Creation & maintenance of integrated marketing material for digital as well as print distribution
* Analyse and assess recruitment spend / trends as well as provide the business with comprehensive understanding of geo-targeted salary surveys to provide competitive compensation packages for new and current markets
* Partner with Department Leaders, People & Development teams and Learning & Development on identifying internal and external talent that exhibit the pre-established key competencies that determine high performers with high potential
* Oversee team management including but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, training, payroll and disciplinary procedures. Oversee staff performance, conducting appraisals and strategizing with leadership to assess performance and development while maintaining professional relationships
* Adhere to health and safety policy (I.e. IIPP, worker’s comp procedures, and allergy procedures) and implement, monitor and enforce compliance with all Company policies, procedures and standards

Requirements

* Minimum of 10+ years of experience

* Must have previous experience managing high-volume and fast-paced recruitment environments within a head office capacity across a magnitude of departments, as well as F&B.

* Keen eye for detail and ability to problem-solve in demanding environments

* Ability to create, develop and implement integrated marketing solutions that align with Soho House & Co. mission and support the acquisition of top talent

* An essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside “office hours”. For example, nights, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable). This may or may not be required on a regular basis but is mandatory when needed

* Agency experience is a plus but not a must

* ATS / career site management and training

* Managing recruitment budgets and maintain legal compliance across different regions and globally
