An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Training manager to lead the training and development function at the award-winning 5-Star Connaught Hotel.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Training manager you will join a high profile team and drive the learning and development approach in this top performing hotel. You will be responsible for the delivery of the training and development strategy and manage the day to day operation of the training function to ensure highly effective training solutions are in place which supports high performance and retention across the hotel. You will create, deliver and evaluate engaging and innovative training, development and communications programmes, utilise a blended approach, and deliver creative solutions which supports a strong team culture and commitment to exceptional guest service delivery.

Entry requirements

Reporting directly to the Group Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with the HR team and the hotel operation to deliver the Connaught’s people agenda. You will be a highly motivated self starter with the ability to deliver to deadlines and prioritise effectively. An excellent and confident communicator, you will be passionate about people, service delivery and have the opportunity to influence and impact across all areas of the hotel, taking a proactive hands-on approach to your role. With this in mind, you will be an experienced and accomplished training professional with experience at a similar level or ready to take on your next step within a high profile environment. Proven experience within a training role and of managing the training cycle is essential for this position and experience within the hospitality or service sectors would be highly desirable.
