The Principal London

The Principal London will open early 2018 following a multi-million pound refurbishment from top to toe.

Originally opened in 1898 by the Frederick Hotels Company, and designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll, The Principal London is a listed, landmark ‘grande dame’ that occupies the eastern flank of Russell Square in Bloomsbury. The Principal London will combine the rich heritage of the original hotel with modern touches, vibrant bars and buzzing restaurants.

Stores Person / Goods receiver £20K

As one of our Stores People you will:

* Report into the Stores Manager

* Ensuring the relevant stock levels are ordered and maintained

* Develop and analyse financial reports for the hotel

* Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

* Carry out stocktakes and departmental audits

* Process and track invoices, ensuring relevant information is updated

* Maintain budgeted cost of sales

* Monitor hotel expenditure

* Support with costing and sourcing

* 40 hours per week

You will ideally have:

* Experience of working within a large luxury hotel with multiple outlets

* The capability of making intuitive decisions in favour of the hotel and manage costs

* A naturally Warm and Generous personality

* The ability to to manage supplier relationships embracing the value of local at heart where possible

* Fantastic communication skills, the ability to build solid relationships with peers, the team and other members of the executive team is essential


* 28 days holiday each year, including bank holidays, this increases annually up to a maximum of 33 days.
