OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Rosewood at Baha Mar’s Spa Supervisor will be responsible for managing the hotel’s spa operations, overseeing staff, maintaining cost controls while ensuring the highest level of personalized, friendly and outstanding guest service that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Rosewood at Baha Mar’s hospitality while overseeing strategic and day-to-day running of spa

* Deliver prompt, efficient and courteous guest service following Baha Mar standards of excellence

* Ensure spa team leaves guests with a lasting impression by treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and providing personalized and friendly service

* Ensure all spa bookings are being booked correctly and according to Baha Mar standards

* Maintain knowledge and understanding of each service area and see that programs are continually updated

* Help monitor a monthly budget for the spa and ensure the spa sanctuaries are maintained to the highest of standards

* Maintain all inventory and amenities for locker room and front desk operations

* Coach, train and discipline team members including sales associates, therapists, fitness and spa attendants

* Achieve and exceed sales and customer service goals

* Ensure guests have maximum comfort at all times

* Resolve any guest requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner

* Interact with guests always displaying proper etiquette following Baha Mar standards

* Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations

* Total compliance with Rosewood at Baha Mar’s standards of operation

* Recommend tactics to consolidate and streamline spa guest operations

* Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends

* Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.

* Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.

* Organizational and computer skills required. Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes.

* Be a role model at Sense Spa; setting the example of professional appearance, demeanor, dedication, attention to members, internal/external guests, etc.

* Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

* Meet with Leads and FOM to review business status and follow up items.

* Check Front of House storage areas for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness. Instruct designated personnel to rectify cleanliness/organization deficiencies.

* Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations.

* Monitor the staffs' interaction with guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service; resolve discrepancies with respective personnel.

* Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.

* Observe guest reactions and confer frequently with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

* Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

* Promote positive guest relations at all times.

* Review the arrival report for accuracy and completeness.

* Assist the Front Desk with the special request report and block according to specifications.

* Review resumes for arriving groups; review any check-in/pre-registration needs.

* Provide feedback to staff on their performance. Handle disciplinary problems and counsel employees according to hotel standards.

* Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.

* Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.

* Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.

* Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.

* Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for the business and doing what it takes to achieve the goals.

* Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:

* All hotel features/services, hours of operation.

* All room types, numbers, layout, décor, appointments and location.

* All room rates, special packages and promotions.

* Daily housecount and expected arrivals/departures.

* Room availability status for any given day.

* Scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times.

* All hotel and departmental policies and procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned
