Spa Cleaner

Ensure Spa Facility and Pool area are maintained to a high level. Service Guest & Members to ensure 5 star standards are met.

Hotel Overview: Set on a 520 acre estate with a unique coastal setting in the Home of Golf, Fairmont St Andrews is the perfect location to turn any holiday into a treasured memory whilst offering a resort experience steeped in the history of the area and traditions of Scotland. The Resort includes 209 luxurious guest bedrooms, 6 diverse dining outlets, 2 golf courses and a tranquil Spa & Leisure facility.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

*
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

*
Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the Spa facility as required.

* Maintain the facility in peak sanitary condition at all times.
* Maintain locker rooms in a tidy manner.
* Check and clean lockers when needed.
* Maintain toiletries in locker room vanities.
* Maintain linen inventory to and from laundry on a scheduled basis.
* Ensure stocking of all spa amenities and toiletries.
* Ensure the Pool area is clean and tidy at all times
* Regular Pool and Jacuzzi tests are carried out to ensure the facilities are safe for our guests
* May be held responsible for opening or closing the Spa facilities on occasion
* All operating equipment are in a working order and report any broken equipment to manager.
* Clean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass shiny
*
Vacuum carpets where needed

*
Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards

*
Report necessary maintenance items

*
Follow all safety and sanitation policies

*
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and organizational skills

*
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

*
Highly responsible & reliable

*
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

*
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

*
Constant standing and walking throughout shift

*
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs

*
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

*
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
