The Stables Restaurant, within the Estate's original stable block, enjoys gorgeous views over the golf course or The Stables courtyard. Next door, The Stables Bar is the ideal place to chill out, swap stories after a round of golf, enjoy an apéritif before dinner in the restaurant and watch Sky Sports. Golfers can use the bar from 7am, to read the papers, grab a snack and shelter when it rains.

We are looking for a talented Sous chef to join us on a permanent basis to help lead the team in producing The Stables' trademark dishes from the a la carte menu as well as assist with catering for functions in our newly built Players' Lounge. You should have previous experience of leading a large team of chefs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:
NVQ 1 & 2 or equivalent
Strong leadership, motivational and teamwork skills
Planning and Time Management
A flexible attitude
Experience in all relative disciplines
Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English language
Artistic abilities

Desirable:
Departmental training experience
Computer literacy
NVQ Level 3
