The Exciting Opportunity

Working in our kitchen you will gain exposure to different types of food offerings to cater for the needs of our guests and will be given the chance to contribute to menu creation.

As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in motivating the Kitchen team to provide exceptional service and food at all times and to make sure that our customers are wow'd by their food experience.

Our most successful Sous Chef's, are those that take pride in their sections and use their skills to help coach junior members of the team.

Where Will You Be Working?

Bridgewood Manor Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in the outskirts of the historic market town of Rochester, within an hour's drive from London City Centre. With conference facilities catering for up to 600 delegates at any one time, this hotel caters for a range of guests, coming for business or leisure. Whether guests are joining us for a spa break or a business meeting, this is a home from home environment and our team are sure to provide the friendliest of welcomes. This hotel features 100 spacious bedrooms including 4 suites, executive rooms and superior rooms. We pride ourselves on investing in our people and delivering outstanding customer service.

What Are We Looking For?

Experience at a minimum of CDP level upwards & the ability to coach and mentor junior Chef's. To be passionate about food and delivering a high quality, well presented food offering to guests. Experience in a volume hotel food environment and ideally be Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualified.
