POSITION PROFILE:

Responsible for the development and performance of all Friends of McLemore and Stay & Play sales activities as assigned to by the Director of Sales. Personally, develop and sell to assigned markets (Including Friends of McLemore, Stay & Play and other Potential Markets), create client relationships, and maintain and act as a finisher in closing bookings. Ensure attainment of sales goals and profitability to exceed revenue matrixes, gain market share, and grow new and old account business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

* Work with Director of Sales to help develop a marketing strategy that enhances the direct sales efforts. Identify business opportunities by being aware of prospective clients and evaluating their position in the marketplace to leverage the sales relationship to maximize revenue.

* Target sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program, in accordance with goals established to penetrate existing and new markets. Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

* Maximize current club key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth.#IND789

* Produce weekly and monthly reports and sales forecasts to evaluate current/potential markets and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share then monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan.

* Develops customer profiles and maintains an effective trace system, including trace dates and references, to best meet client needs, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues.

* Maintain well-documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management system to serve client and employer in the most expedient, organized, and knowledgeable manner.Develop strong customer relationships through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.

* Promptly follows-up on all customer needs and inquiries in an efficient and expedient manner. Focus on revenue-producing activity and selling time by a strategic plan that maximizes direct sales efforts. Achieve activity goals as established by management and complete all reports and assignments in an accurate and timely fashion.

* Develop awareness and reputation of the club and the brand with Friends of McLemore and Stay & Play. Exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all club departments and maintain open communications with all co-workers and managers for the best overall performance of the club and champion a service and hospitable culture that promote a healthy and productive format of serving others with excellence.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience: A minimum of one to two years of experience in a related management role. Hospitality or Golf club experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide-range of information. Extensive knowledge of negotiating and sales procedures associated with the golf/sales industry. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication. Communicate information and club services to management, staff and guests.
