Be fully aware of The Lanesborough Culture, Service Experience along with Guests Recognition that The Lanesborough is renowned for. Be able to promote and be confident with all facilities offered in the hotel. This role is responsible for looking after guestrooms ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and standards are maintained. Communication is essential with all departments especially Reception, Butlers, In Room Dining, Maintenance and communicating with Floor Supervisors. A key focus is to also engage with guests when necessary and ensuring that all requests (whether relating to housekeeping or not) is taken ownership of and followed through.
Housekeeping department is key to ensuring the guests feel secure, safe and sound in the knowledge that their guest room is treated with care and confidentiality thereby creating the comfort of their home environment at The Lanesborough.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes
* Basic command of the English language and communication skills (a second language would be beneficial)
* Experience within a 4* or 5* luxury hotel environment as a Room Attendant
* Willing to work flexible hours on a shift pattern basis
* Well groomed appearance
* Good organisational skills
* This role will involve some manual handling
