Restaurant Manager

Main Purpose of the role:

We're serious about the future of our business and know that food and beverage is key to our success. It's why we've been investing across our hotels and venues, developing restaurant offerings to be vibrant, casual dining experiences underpinned by fantastic customer service.

That means as Restaurant Manager for our Steam, Bake and Grill Restaurant, you are responsible for managing the day to day activities for the department, delivering high quality food and beverage experiences to all our guests. You will monitor and review monthly sales performance, productivity, food quality, service and merchandising, all whilst leading, training and constantly improving the performance of your team. Ultimately, you will ensure the overall department achieves its potential in that of sales and profitability for the business.

Our Steam, Bake and Grill concept sees the very best local produce and seasonal ingredients in dishes created by our Chefs, from a menu that changes daily. From nutritious business lunches to relaxed evening meals, our guests can discover a range of contemporary twists on favourite classics, all in a modern setting. Ranging from buffet-style for breakfast and lunch, to A La Carte, or seasonal promotional menus in the evenings, to working lunches for corporate groups, you will charged with overseeing the delivery of ar range of styles of service; delivering memorable moments to all of our guests.

You'll have a natural flair for excellent customer service, but will also have flourishing leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills that mean you can interact with all levels of colleagues. With a flexible and adaptable approach, you will have experience working in a similar environment, and have a real eye for detail. This really is a role that requires someone with a strong passion for excellent customer service and an upbeat, positive attitude. You'll also have:

• Previous experience in a similar hotel or venue
• Experience of working and leading in a dynamic environment
• A passion to grow and develop your team
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• A real attention to detail to ensure the highest of standards are maintained
• Personality, flair and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels both internally and with our guests
• Commercial awareness, sound financial skills and the ability to create business plans to drive sales and profitability.
