OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
• Assist server staff in serving customers, and performs duties to support the department in the following ways.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Clean all side stands.
• Set up and serves morning continental breakfast; to include sugar, coffee cup, spoon, hot water, cream, napkin, sweet roll and pastry.
• Clears dishes from tables and busses trays to kitchen
• Works breakfast, lunch or dinner buffets as needed
• Take all leftover food to the kitchen after service has finished
• Resets tables in dining rooms
• Replace clean cutlery, napkin, and glass
• Assist with set up of private parties
• Serves beverages as needed; water must be served first when guests are seated
• Generally assist wait staff in the servicing of customers
• Replenish buffet and breaks down the buffet, serves smoothies from the buffet if assigned to this area
• Serves Food & Beverage in guest’s room if required to work in room service
• Brews coffee and tea
• Clean coffee container after each shift
• Follows and utilize all standards that are taught in training sessions
• Perform any other task that may be deemed necessary as instructed by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
• The ability to communicate with guests and service personnel
• Ability to lift and carry a service tray overhead with UP TO 40 pounds for a distance of 120 feet.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to stand for long periods
