You are the first and last face our customers see, so we rely on you to make a lasting impression. Smart and friendly with a sparkling personality, you will arrange reservations, welcome guests in, deal with bill settlements and generally attend to our guest's needs. Ideally you will have hotel experience, but personality and aptitude are more important, as we will provide full training.
This is full time position working 35 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 rota basis, including evenings and weekends.
Shift pattern will be 7:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00.

Own Transport will be essential due to the location of the hotel
Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall is a classically-styled country house hotel with Regency decor and charming rooms surrounded by beautiful grounds. It is situated just 3½ miles from the city centre and is a top class location for conferences and meetings.
The hotel has 72 bedrooms including 4 poster suites, a restaurant, and a Club Bar. It also offers meeting facilities with 6 conference rooms for up to a maximum of 120 guests.
