An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate Reception manager to lead the Reception team at the award-winning 5-star Connaught Hotel.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Reception manager you will lead the Reception team in the delivery of an exceptional guest experience at the Connaught. You will be responsible in managing, directing and supporting the Reception team members and must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and efficiency at all times. The Reception manager must lead the team development ensuring that all colleagues are encouraged, nurtured and motivated. You must have the ability to make decisions confidently, must remain calm and focused when faced with emergency and security situations as well as use good judgement to escalate situations whenever appropriate. You must ensure that guests are provided with outstanding and consistent service throughout their stay at the Connaught and always aim to exceed expectations.

Entry requirements

You will be an accomplished manager who shares our passion for delivering an amazing and outstanding guest service with proven experience in Front Office within a similar establishment is essential. You will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation with strong inter-personal and people management skills. An excellent and confident communicator, you will take a hands-on and proactive approach to your role with a key focus on developing and supporting your team members.
