Be able to promote and be confident with all facilities offered in the hotel. To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times. Ensure that all guests are welcomed in a genuine manner and recognized throughout their stay, offering personalized service at every opportunity. This role plays a key part in creating memorable experiences and must communicate guests' preferences and relevant information with every department for the guests' stay to be seamless. Our professional Front Office team are a point of difference and are expected to go above and beyond and often make decisions in the interest of the guest. Check in is carried out in the guestroom and the reception team are often expected to leave the Front Desk area to assist guests and familiarise them with their London Residence. This role will be required to cover various shifts.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes
* Previous experience within Front Office in a 4* or 5* establishment is essential and experience in the luxury London market would be preferred.
* Degree in hospitality would be beneficial
* Must have the ability to work on own initiative
* Be available, flexible and willing to work a 24h roaster when required.
* Be willing to attend training courses to enhance job role and encourage self-development
* A proven track record of exceptional guest service and excellent command of the English language both written and verbal (a second language would be desirable but not essential)
* Knowledge of Opera system would be preferred
