Receive, record, and expedite all pool restaurant orders while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of property standards and profit maximization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Take all pool restaurant orders communicating with guest daily specials, estimated time of arrival, cash in advance / room charge policy, in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure top quality guest service.
Expedite orders to kitchen staff.
Process guest checks and perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel's operating policies and procedures.
Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales. Report all communications to immediate shift supervisor.
Check with guest to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

All other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Three - Six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
Skills and Abilities: Must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions. Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages. Able to read, speak and understand English. Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs. Stand continuously for long periods of time. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests. Tips Certification required.
