Role

We are currently looking for a Pastry Kitchen Trainee to join our team of Chefs at Rosewood London. Kitchen Trainees support the pastry brigade under the supervision and guidance from experienced Chefs.

The position is on a fixed term basis over 1.5 years. The Pastry Kitchen Trainee will also be offered the opportunity to study Professional Patisserie Culinary Level 1 with the potential to progress to Level 2 with Westminster Kingsway College.

Key expectations of this role are:

• Following food safety and health and safety regulation at all times.

• Assisting with the preparation of desserts.

• Learning from experienced Chefs and applying the newly gained skills.

• Following all standards as set out by your supervisor and general procedures of the kitchen.

Profile

• Having a passion for food and hospitality.

• Taking a proactive approach in learning new skills.

• The ability to work in a team and build relationships with others.

• Being organised and efficient in prioritising your responsibilities.
