A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join the new Connaught Pâtisserie set to open in early May 2020.

Found at the heart of Mayfair village, The Connaught blends tradition with contemporary flair. With its bespoke service, 3,000-piece art collection, two Michelin-starred restaurant Hélène Darroze at The Connaught and London’s only Aman Spa, it has always been the choice for connoisseurs of the art of living well. Jean-Georges at The Connaught offers all-hours informal gourmet dining; and the exquisite Connaught Bar has won prestigious awards for its masterful mixology.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Pastry Demi Chef de Partie you will work with the Pastry Sous Chef and Pastry Chef de Partie in the day to day running of the Connaught Pâtisserie, and ensuring delivery of exceptional quality and consistency. You will assist ensuring quality standards are achieved.

Entry requirements

As Pastry Demi Chef de Partie you will be an excellent team player with hands-on and organised approach to your role, passionate about your team and working in a leading hotel operation. You must be able to assist the team’s creative style, while contributing to an exciting environment within the department. With this in mind, you will have previous solid experience at a similar level and have proven experience within a quality hotel and/or restaurant Pastry team.
