Rosewood São Paulo will feature 150 guestrooms and 124 owners'​ suites, which will be situated within a vertical park created by Nouvel. An enthusiastic, confident, creative and open-minded person. Has very good communication skills, is a people’s person and a good motivator. This role also requires organizational and analytical skills with strong leadership and training techniques. The person needs to be internationally versed and multi-cultured and stay on top of market trends and changes.


Plan, prep, set up and prepare quality products in all areas of the Pastry/Bake Shop to include, but not limited to pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, jams, displays/centerpieces in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.


Experience: Solid experience in food and beverage culinary managerial experience with demonstrated leadership on a Pastry Chef position at Luxury hotel or restaurant.

Education: High school diploma; culinary certificate preferred.

General Skills:

* Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail,

* Lead, direct and form the team.

* Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.

* Speed and accuracy;

* Prioritize, organize and follow-up;

* Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment;

* Understand a guest's service needs;

* Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team;

* Work with minimal supervision;

* Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

Technical Skills:

* Work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines;

* Team trainner and coach;

* Maintain a good coordination;

* Ability to work with all products and ingredients involved as well to take advance on the seasonal ingredients;

* Ability to use all senses to ensure quality standards are met;

* Operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions;

* Produce creative and artistic products;

* Ability to expand and condense recipes;

* Responsible for managing the team's working hours to maintain a healthy margin
