The Principal London will open early 2018 following a multi-million pound refurbishment from top to toe.

Originally opened in 1898 by the Frederick Hotels Company, and designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll, The Principal London is a listed, landmark ‘grande dame’ that occupies the eastern flank of Russell Square in Bloomsbury. The Principal London will combine the rich heritage of the original hotel with modern touches, vibrant bars and buzzing restaurants.

Palm Court Restaurant Manager

The Restaurant Manager role involves a wide range of duties including:

* Manage the day to day running of the Palm Court

* Provide on the job training for all team members

* Monitor restaurant revenue and promote up-selling

* Develop departmental incentives

* Create a destination afternoon tea experience that is recognised on a national and international scale.

* To drive the team to deliver a 5* service that is warm and intuitive whilst also exceeding revenue target

As our Palm Court Restaurant Manager you will:

* Have a proven track record within a luxury hotel

* Have a true passion for brilliant food and drink

* Be distinctive, confident and efficient

* Be intuitive and professional with great organisational skills and time management

* Be energetic with a passion to do a great job

* Be a naturally warm host, someone who loves looking after people

* Be able to plan and execute events with charisma and professionalism

* Demonstrates a passion for people with a strong network of contacts within the events and hospitality industry

* Ability to plan and execute events and hospitality experiences under pressure

* Can do attitude with natural leadership and motivational skills
