The Residence Inn by Aberdeen Marriott have a fantastic opportunity for two Operation Assistants to join our Operation Team on a full-time basis. As an Operation Assistant, your role will be a mixture of Front Desk and Food & Beverage.

What you’ll do
Front Desk Operations
* Organize, confirm and process guest check-ins/ check-outs and adapt for any changes
* Secure payment, verifying and adjusting billing as needed
* Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities and local interests
* Run daily reports, reviewing to see what needs to be communicated to the next shift’s staff
* Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift securely
* Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering to the right department
* Communicate any emergency, lost item or theft to proper security staff and/or authorities
* Keep contingency lists in case of emergency and communicate any necessary messages
Food & Beverage Operations
* Carry out duties within the F&B operation as requested by Manager/Supervisor.
* To prepare all tables, supplies and equipment for the F&B outlet.
* Ensure uniform, nametags and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions.
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the Hotel.
* Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
* Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
* Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order.
* Present accurate check and process payment, adhering to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
* Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
* Answer questions on menu selections.
* Ensure Guest Response Forms are completed and passed to Manager.
* Complete closing duties including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.

This role requires compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards. You may be required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
