Ensuring our guests receive 24 hours service and enjoy a peaceful nights sleep is a vital part of the Mercure experience.
Within this busy and varied role as Night Porter, you will be responsible for looking after hotel safety and guest welfare at night.
Duties include reception duties, checking in guests, conducting night audits and providing guests with our 24 hour room service menu and beverages, assisting the housekeeping team with cleaning and maintenance and resolving guest requests and complaints in an efficient, friendly and competent manner.
Our Night Porters also assist in setting up and servicing Event rooms and performing a variety of general portering duties.
To succeed as Night Porter, you will be computer literate, have a good attention to detail and be warm and welcoming.
No previous experience is essential, although experience within similiar roles would be advantageous such as Receptionist, Bar, Restaurant, Waiter, Waitress, Front of House, General Assistant, Conferencing, Banqueting, Events, Cook, Kitchen Porter and Nights.
