The Role...

To assist the Merchandising Team drive sales and manage stocks in a multi-channel, multi-currency business covering Retail space, Ecommerce platforms, Internal and Wholesale models.

To provide strong administrative skills, meet deadlines, take on ad hoc tasks and support the merchandising team in a fast paced, exciting and growing business.

To use organisational skills, logic and analysis to meet the demands of this busy department.

Main Duties:

Trade/Reporting

* Assist with Excel trade report creation
* Raise purchase orders in Sage and record in Excel
* Raise customer sales orders in Sage
* Stock management through Sage and appropriate Warehouse Portals
* Maintain inventory records as required on Sage and Excel
* Assist with managing ringfencing and stockholding for all channels
* Support new openings with quotes and orders
* Assist with regular and adhoc reporting using Sage and Excel
* Adhoc queries and analysis

Planning

* Assist with Line planning and forecasting

Factory & Supplier Management

* Monitor and manage intake dates with suppliers, communicating issues with wider team as necessary
* Liaise with Merchandising Team, NPD Team, Finance and Logistics where necessary to ensure smooth stock flow in and out of the business
* Maintain inventory records as required on Sage and Excel
* Build relationships with key business stakeholders
* Maintain constant communication with peers on NPD to allow a smooth process of stock in and out of the business

Commercial Awareness

* To undertake house visits when required to ensure that we are delivering to expectations.
* To have an excellent understanding of the target customer and emerging trends.
* To understand, prioritise and work to critical dates and deadlines in both the planning and trading process.
* To consistently deliver excellent standards of customer service, to be pro-active in seeking customer feedback from all business channels

Requirements

* Strong numerical skills
* Advanced Excel skills
* Analytical and logical
* Highly organised, and self-motivated with drive and determination
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with ease, adapting your communication styles for the audience
* Merchandising experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
