Key tasks & responsibilities

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the internationally acclaimed Park Plaza Hotel Group, renowned for their approach to training, career development and progression.

Park Plaza County Hall has one of the most successful M&E teams within our company, with industry leading client satisfaction scores, developed through our proactive, personalised service and the M&E Sales Executive must be able to demonstrate their passion for excellent customer service.

Reporting to the M&E Sales and Planning Manager, the Meeting and Events Sales Executive will be responsible for the full life cycle of M&E Sales from dealing with initial enquiries, through planning and contracting business before ensuring that a thorough handover is given to our Operations team.

A key part of the role is ensuring that that sales leads, conversion of customer enquiries, development of future/repeat business are all maximised. They M&E Sales Executive will be expected to follow Park Plaza booking and service standards to ensure client satisfaction is maintained and exceeded.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to enhance their experience in Meeting and Events.

We are looking for:

* Previous experience within Meeting and Events Sales and Planning ideal, but not necessary
* Excellent communication skills (fluent written and spoken English)
* Be target driven
* Have experience of working with the Opera PMS system
* Ideal for candidates with previous experience working in Front Office roles
