A new chapter in De Vere Wokefield Estate’s history is complete! Situated in 250 acres of beautiful parkland near Reading, this huge property has undergone an extensive £10 million refurbishment to dramatically restore the hotel to its former glory. The 376 bedrooms, event space and reception have been completely overhauled and as well as the re-launch of our modern executive centre, complete with a new Burr & Co. coffeehouse and deli. Our historical Mansion House featuring 87 guest rooms, now sits at the heart of the estate, having undergone a stunning transformation including the exciting launch our new Restaurant '1560'.

Mansion House Restaurant & Bars Manager

Main purpose of the role:

You’ll be responsible for the delivering the very best quality food and beverage services to our customers in the Mansion House. Also responsible for relevant commercial and financial objectives, you will constantly looking to improve productivity food quality and service to improve performance.

The ideal candidate

With experience in a similar setting, you’ll naturally be focussed on delivering outstanding customer service every time. You’ll ideally be:

- A natural leader, able to communicate well with all colleagues and guests
- Flexible in your approach, able to work well in a fast paced environment, flexible and willing to learn
- Professional and positive approach, upbeat personality that’s naturally customer service orientated
