An exceptional opportunity exists at our newest venture for a highly talented and ambitious Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join the newest venture at The Connaught opened this Summer by internationally renowned Michelin-starred French Chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Eclectic, imaginative menus are inspired both by Jean-Georges’ experiences of the Far East and his signature use of South-east Asian flavours, whilst also featuring his distinctive take on British and Connaught classics.

Jean-Georges at The Connaught is a meeting place for both our guests and our neighbourhood. It overlooks fashionable Mount Street, in the heart of Mayfair, and offers informal gourmet dining, all-hours, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, in a relaxed, contemporary setting.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the entire Kitchen team and hold a key role in day to day operation of the Jean Georges kitchen. You will be passionate about working with the finest, freshest ingredients and in delivering quality dishes and products. You will take an organised approach to your role and prioritise effectively to ensure the smooth running of your section.

Entry Requirements

You will be an excellent team player with a hands-on and organised approach to your role, passionate about your team and working in a leading restaurant operation. With this in mind, you will have previous supervisory experience at a similar level and have proven experience within a quality hotel or restaurant operation to rosette standards.
