Careys Manor Hotel is a luxury four-star hotel and spa located in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, England. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff and attentive service. Our newest restaurant, Cambium, offers a fresh, contemporary yet classic style, capturing the essence of the local area and the abundant variety of colour during the changing seasons. It offers our diners cuisine to a three Rosette standard with emphasis on simplicity, exacting flavour combinations and exemplary presentation.

Cambium has 3 AA rosettes and its growing popularity creates an exciting new career opportunity for a new Junior Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef, helping to build a strong kitchen team and ensuring we deliver outstanding cuisine for our guests. You will have meticulously high standards, an eye for detail and the desire to exceed customer expectations. This is a superb opportunity to work with the finest quality, seasonal ingredients which are free-range, organic and sourced as locally as possible.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working at a similar establishment, with ideally some experience working at two or three rosette level. You will have a good cookery background as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. If you are a confident and motivated Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, who is passionate about delivering high standards of service and quality, then we’d love to hear from you. Careys Manor & SenSpa is a friendly and supportive employer which has a culture of involvement and ongoing training and development, supporting staff through NVQ and other professional development. We are also seeking a Chef de Partie to join the growing team.

The role is full time, with a rota operating on 5 out of 7 days per week. We do have staff accommodation (subject to availability) and it is a good base to explore the South Coast. The hotel is situated 5 minutes’ walk from Brockenhurst Village and train station with excellent rail links to Bournemouth, Southampton and London. The New Forest is a lovely setting with ponies, deer and other animals roaming throughout the Forest and its villages, and beautiful surroundings.
