The role of the Hotel Sales Executive will be to support the Director of Sales to drive incremental revenue into their base hotel, with a constant eye on referral opportunities.

The Sales Executive role will have the responsibility for sourcing new leads for conversion into lucrative accounts and will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of local accounts with a view to driving volume and incremental spend through M&E and F&B opportunities

Key aspects of the role:

* The sourcing of new leads via various means to support the business objectives of the hotel

* Support the Regional Director of Sales to deliver incremental revenue into the targeted market segments

* Consistently deliver on agreed weekly target activities and demonstrate results from the activity

* Work with the existing local client base to identify other revenue opportunities, i.e. M&E

* Support the F&B team by driving Christmas party bookings through our existing and new client base

* To identify innovative ways to drive new sales leads with a structured follow up plan

* Understand competitors business through site visits and Hotelligence reporting and utilise this information to drive sales activities

* Utilise salesforce.com to enrich client specific data to build a deep understanding of the accounts, the opportunities that exist and to share key information with the hotels

* To completely understand the brand you are working within and feel confident presenting to internal and external customers

* Support the central sales team at trade shows, familiarisation trips and events

* Passionate about learning and developing your own skills and understanding of the industry

* Expectation of developing opportunities for other hotels within the group
