Hotel Duty Manager – Job Description

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our independent hotel. The ideal candidate must be forward thinking, passionate about delivery, provide excellent customer service with a smile and pride.

As a Duty Manager you will be responsible for the supervision and management of staff and the hotel.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and interacting with customers
  • Checking guests in and out – including taking reservations for the hotel and restaurant
  • Taking and processing orders
  • Making and serving drinks
  • Keeping the hotel presentable at all times
  • Providing customers with information on our fantastic range of products
  • Opening / Closing the hotel

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Approachable, friendly and charming
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong team playing ability
  • Good listening skills
  • Able to take direction from Senior Managers
  • Quick learning ability
  • Confidence

Additional Points

  • For this role we would prefer candidates to posses previous experience in a customer facing, service based role.
  • We would require a good amount of flexibility when it comes to working day times, evenings and weekend
  • Due to the location of the hotel this role would suit someone with access to their own transport
  • Competitive rates of pay available.
  • All training will be provided on site.
