Designed by David Collins Studio, Massimo Restaurant features Italian food created with passion and flare, inspired by and infused with bold Neapolitan and southern Italian flavours, under the guidance of Head Chef Andrea Cirino, formerly of Locanda Locatelli. We are currently seeking a Host/ess to join our expanding Massimo team. Scope and Purpose As the Host/ess, you will have the privilege of meeting and greeting the guests in such a way so as to leave a lasting impression. The role is challenging and diverse from answering the phone to presenting and finalising the guest’s bills. Other duties include handling special requests, making last minute bookings, presenting and preparing menus and assisting other colleagues to ensure the seamless service of the restaurant as required. Entry Requirements We are looking for individuals that understand what it takes to be the best and preferably with proven success in a similar environment. We are seeking a team player, who is keen to learn with a desire to excel, and has outstanding interpersonal and communication. Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
Previous experience as a host/ess from within a 5* hotel or similar
fine-dining establishment
Exceptional customer care skills
Empathy for your colleagues
Ability to work under pressure
Pride and attention to detail in your work
The finest personal presentation
Distinctive, professional and warm personality
