Key responsibilities

* Financial Controls and processes put in place at all locations.
* Financial Management Framework for the Soho Works business including Target setting budgeting, quarterly forecasting and reporting of KPIs ensuring key accountabilities in place.
* Developing forward looking strategic plans
* Work with the Managing Director and senior team to drive the financial performance of the Soho Works UK Business.
* Responsibility for cash management and cash flow forecasting and ensuring Soho Works funding requirements are met.
* Responsibility for timely Soho House Group and external investor reporting.
* Management of the Finance team and developing financial systems and processes to ensure an efficient finance service.
* Working with the development team to ensure that all site appraisal assumptions are robust and current and appraisals are realistic and meet the Soho Works JV hurdle requirements.
* Responsibility for statutory compliance including VAT, Tax, Statutory accounts and audit (working with SH group where required)


Day to day tasks

* Developing and owning the 3 to 5 year strategic financial plan and continuously updating assumptions as the business model develops.
* Leading and delivering the site and support cost budget setting process.
* Ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, budgets, quarterly forecasts and KPIs.
* Working closely with General Managers, Membership and the Operations Director on financial performance and providing support for decision making and analysis where required, this includes tracking sales / costs on a week to week basis and identifying trends and potential risks and opportunities in advance.
* Responsible for reporting into Soho House Group Finance and fielding client queries where required.
* Work with the Soho Works development team to ensure that appraisals are realistic and incorporate the most current SW business model and actual results.
* Closely monitoring the cash position and funding requirements.
* Working with operations to ensure that payment and reporting systems are working effectively.
