In this important hands-on position you will ensure the smooth running of the Housekeeping Department from checking and cleaning bedrooms.
This entails everything from staff recruitment and training to compiling the Housekeeping rota, controlling wages and expenditure, checking of guest bedrooms for the days arrivals, linen and laundry and generally maintaining high standards of performance, appearance and hygiene.
Previous experience within a similar management role is essential, preferably within a Hotel such as Head Housekeeper, Head Chambermaid, Head Chamber Steward, Head Cleaner, Housekeeper, Head Room Attendant, Head Janitor, Rooms Division Manager, Operations Manager, Duty Manager, Supervisor.
