The Exciting Opportunity
We have commenced our search for a Full Time Head Chef for the newly opened Courtyard by Marriott, Inverness Airport. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will ensure that the kitchen is run in accordance with company policies and in line with all hygiene/compliance regulations.
As Head Chef you will lead the kitchen team and the successful food operation of the hotel. You will manage your departmental budget, co-ordinate and control with initiative, all issues relating to costs, expenses, wastage, breakages, and stock control. You will run the kitchen to highest level of standards and good practice and ensure maximum profit by managing food costs. You will ensure that you and your team produce a consistently high quality food offering for our guests and be focused on service standards and food presentation.
You will be an ambassador for the guest journey and you will epitomise Marriott brand values and service behaviours to ensure they are delivered consistently in a professional and friendly environment. You will develop a newly established team to achieve exceptional performance across the key indicators of profit, people and RGI.
Where Will You Be Working?
The new Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport, featuring 130 bedrooms, 1 meeting room, a gymnasium and bar and bistro.
Part of the Marriott family of brands, this exciting role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to open an iconic-branded hotel in a busy, competitive market place.

Previous Head Chef experience of minimum 2 years essential, preferably within hotels.
