Main role and objectives:

As a Guest Services Manager at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel your main role will be to supervise the Guest Services and to ensure that the service is to the required standard and meets the Park Plaza Brand Audit Standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the smooth running of Guest Services and the Business Centre including managing the switchboard, room service orders, Hotsos, and other systems in order to deliver the best guest experience possible

- Manage the Guest Services team, ensuring that they offer an outstanding experience to our guests at all time and provide efficient, prompt, trouble free and courteous service to our guests

- Operationally support the Guest Services team during periods of peak demand and/or challenging staffing levels

- Oversee the Recruitment process for the department

What we are looking for:

The ideal Guest Services Manager will:

- Be able to demonstrate management skills

- Be able to differentiate between different guest types and in-house guests

- Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling

- Have excellent telephone manner

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

- Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations

- Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure

- Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
