The Exciting Opportunity

***Full or Part-time positions are available***

We have commenced our search for Guest Service Assistants to support the opening of the Hampton by Hilton Manchester Northern Quarter - a 3-star focused service 221-bedroom hotel opening August 2020.

Reporting directly to Guest Service Managers you will take responsibility in assisting with the Hotel's operational areas e.g. overseeing Reception, Night Team, Housekeeping plus Food and Beverage within the hotel.

As a Guest Services Assistant, you will assist in daily Front Office/ Food & Beverage operations and work with customers and Guests to serve their needs and provide an excellent customer service experience. A Guest Services Assistant, is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

* Assist the Duty Manager with daily Front Office/ Food & Beverage operations

* Provide prompt service and actively seek opportunities to drive Guest satisfaction

* Ensure that you are fully aware of any relevant feedback from either Guests/ other departments

* Manage, resolve or escalate any and all Guest complaints quickly

* Ensure all access to the hotel is secure as required by hotel policy and procedure.

* Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area

* Respond to guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction, as needed

* Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests, as needed

***Full or Part-time positions are available***

Full Time Hours - Shifts patterns are as follows – ‘Early Shift’ - 6.00-14.30 or ‘Late Shift’ - 14.00-22.30.

***A dedicated Nights Team will be employed however sickness and holiday cover will result in cover of the following ‘Night Shift’ - 22.00-06.30***

Part Time Hours may include all of the above or shorter shifts in line with the business needs for example:

7.00-11.00, 7.00-12.00, 8.00-12.00, 8.00-13.00, 17.00-22.00, 17.30-22.30 or 18.00-23.00

You will be working at the Hampton by Hilton Manchester Norther Quarter. This exciting new project will boast 221 guest bedrooms and will benefit from close proximity to bars, restaurants and cultural attractions.
