We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor who will help lead the Cast Iron Grill team; working calmly and efficiently during busy service, delivering a consistently excellent experience for our guests.

Hours of Work:

The F&B Supervisor will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, working 5 shifts over 7, to include weekends and bank holidays. Hours of work vary.

Rate of Pay is £8.20 per hour plus service charge and gratuities [shared out by the Tronc process]

Job Tasks include:


Supervising the Cast Iron Grill team, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.


Serving food courses and beverages to guests either in the Bar, Restaurant or Room Service.


Being attentive during service and taking the lead in checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.


Acting as an expert in dealing with questions on menu selections including allergen information, dietary needs and special requests, using your in depth knowledge of our menu. In addition to communicating these to the kitchen.


Completing administrative activities including payroll, ordering, and performance management of the Cast Iron Grill team.


Working closely and professionally with the Kitchen team regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability.


Recording all transactions in MICROS system at time of order, presenting accurate bill information to guests and follow all cash handling procedures thoroughly.


Maintaining excellent cleanliness of work areas, crockery & glassware.


Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Manager.


Speak with others using clear and professional language.


Standing and walking for an extended period of time. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

We are looking for someone with:


Previous Supervisory Experience


Excellent Customer Service Skills


Cash Handling experience, IT & numerical skills.


Good level of Food and Beverage service experience in order to lead the team on shift, serving customers and delivering room service orders with confidence.
