The hotels within Soho House are of unparalleled design, with outstanding service being the central priority. Our restaurants are consistently busy, offering friendly but professional service.

White City House is located within the old BBC headquarters in West London. The House has three floors of club space, rooftop pool, events space, two cinemas, a screening room, 45 bedrooms within the building’s original Grade-II listed central ring and our 24,000 sq ft House Gym with state-of-the-art equipment, a large free weights area, bespoke rigs, and an activated turf area.

In four studios, members and hotel guests can choose from classes including Pilates and Vinyasa yoga, multi-functional conditioning, combat and Soho House’s signature HIIT offering.

There’s also a 17-metre lap pool with steam room, sauna and hammam, as well as spacious changing and shower facilities.

The Role...

We are currently searching for a passionate and professional Fitness Manager to support the White City House Gym team. The Fitness Manager is responsible for the overall management of our team of Fitness Coaches and all related departments as well as managing the atmosphere and presentation of the gym to offer a unique experience to every member. Candidates must be passionate about the leisure industry, have the ability to lead by example and work on their own initiative.

This role would ideally suit someone with a strong background in leisure and fitness who has a great can-do attitude. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, as well as be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Fitness Manager role will include evening and weekend work.

Main Duties:

* Planning and administering rotas, daily attendance as well as accurate payroll managment towards business needs.
* Conducting regular team meetings & training; providing constant on-the-job mentoring for new employees and trainees
* Inspire and motivate the Fitness team to deliver outstanding service to members and guests by providing active support and guidance to the team.
* Conduct regular Health & Safety audits to ensure safety of fitness equipment and general gym environment
* Establish and maintain department operating procedures.
* Working closely together with the wider management team and the Gym General Manager.

* To deliver high-level customer service and care at all times
* Communicate all feedback and guest comments to management promptly.

Requirements

Previous managerial experience in a similar high-volume environment.

Minimum entry requirement include:

* Level 2 instructor certificate

* Level 3 personal trainer diploma
* Emergency first aid
