The Role…

Management of the Soho House Design Finance team to achieve financial targets, ensure appropriate controls are in place and report on results.

* Budgeting and Financial Management
* Support the Finance Director with the annual budget.
* Produce monthly forecasts in line with appropriate agreements and contracts.
* Monitor costs and expenses relating to the company, track against budgets and produce monthly
* forecast for review.
* Assist in the production of month end actuals for review, including ensuring all month end postings
* are completed accurately in line with relevant agreements.

Administration

* Ensure all work and filing is maintained to an auditable standard.
* Prepare weekly cash analysis and manage weekly company cash flow.
* Accounts Receivable
* Ensure all demands and credit notes are issued for effective debtor management for all accounts.
* Respond to creditor queries.

Accounts Payable

* Manage the Purchase Ledger function to ensure all payments are made within terms.
* Ensure ledgers are kept up to date, including supplier statement reconciliations.
* Maintain aging to below 30 days and ensure internal controls are adhered to.

Reporting

* Ensure all revenue streams are reported in a timely and effective manner.
* Assist in the population and production of all month end reports, including comparison of actuals to budget / forecast.
* Stakeholder Relations
* Provide accurate and timely information to all key stakeholders.
* Work with internal auditors to resolve issues and / or provide information as required.

Team Support

* Maintain positive relationships with all internal departments.
* Clarify work objectives and communicate to others as appropriate.
* Communicate and monitor adherence to methodologies and processes.
* Communicate standards and levels of performance to all staff.
* Provide support to other company personnel as required.
* Work with company personnel to achieve Soho House objectives.
* Manage team members to achieve team objectives and provide assistance and cover as needed.

Requirements

* At least 2 years’ experience gained in a relevant environment with a proven track record of working with construction valuations.
* Appropriate Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with 3 – 4 years post qualified experience.
* Line management experience.
* Preparation of management accounts to trial balance.
* Competent technical and systems skills including advanced Microsoft Excel.
* Evidence of strong communication skills, written and verbal.
* Preferably experience of Sage (including Sage Construct).
