As an F&B Waiter I have an extensive knowledge and
a real passion for service, good food, wines andcocktails.

I take pride in my appearance and speak fluent
English. I enjoy building relationships with my guests, whilst working closely
with our service and kitchen teams. A crucial part of my job is not only to
deliver guest orders but to create fun and memorable experiences, establishing
connections and adding a personal touch. One of my key working skills is the
ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, whilst maintaining
a calm and friendly manner.

Mercante is the new local Italian
eatery in Mayfair. Taking inspiration from famous markets around Italy,
Mercante sets the standard for exceptional quality of fresh, sesonal and
unrivalled Italian produce.Choosen daily from the market and expertly prepared
for all. Mercante is relaxed dining and great conversation; friends, family and
perfect italian food.

Part of my role in Mercante, is to fully
understand our unique restaurant concept and
ensure that our customers can relate, so they can be part of the experience. I
must use my upselling skills to inform our customers of our running promotions.

Essentially, I am in charge and responsible for the
control of several tables allocated to me at the staff briefing, which occurs
before every service begins. My main responsibilities are greeting &
seating guests, taking & delivering customer orders, whilst consistently
demonstrating a high level of customer service. Additional duties include
maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing
clean-as-you-go procedures, assisting supervisors and complying with all brand standards.

My rota is usually given to me a week in advance,
which is great as I can plan other commitments around these dates.

The F&B Team at The Sheraton Grand London Park
Lane Hotel are like a big family and I thoroughly enjoy coming in for my shift
and working with such a fantastic team.
