Your day to day

IHG develops and operates hotels in over 100 countries where hotel owners and hotel operators face a diverse range of security threats. As part of an evolving risk advisory and shared service team, you will be responsible for directing security threat Intelligence to protect IHG’s guests; colleagues; visitors; and our hotel Owners’ assets - advising our operational risk teams, global Resilience team and working in close collaboration with IHG’s Cyber Intelligence team on converging threats to IHG’s goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Directing the Collection Coordination Intelligence Requirement Management (CCIRM) process across all security threats to IHG (Geopolitics, Terrorism, Serious Organised Crime, Activists and motivated hostile individuals), supporting business owners across IHG manage risk.
* Ensuring that security threat intelligence is integrated to deliver fused assessments to Regional and Functional customers.
* Overseeing and managing security threat intelligence professional fees, extracting maximum value for cost.
* Developing and evaluating intelligence sources, optimising services to make the most efficient use of IHG’s resources.
* Driving sound return on investment (RoI) on IHG’s involvement with industry ‘Intelligence Working Groups’.
* Evolving IHG’s intelligence liaison architecture with external authorities in support of 1st and 2nd line responsibilities and accountabilities.
* Maintaining strong relationship with IHG’s Cyber Intelligence Team (CIT) and BRR’s Crime & Integrity Intelligence Team (CIIT) to liaise on opportunities to realise efficiencies across cyber and physical threat intelligence sources, agencies and tool sets.
* Coaching 2nd line teams on intelligence principles (intelligence cycle) to build capability across IHG in support of IHG’s risk management system.

What we need from you

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Intelligence or International studies/politics
* 5 years proven expertise and experience of dealing with security threat intelligence and reputation management in a military, government or corporate environment.
* Global experience of geopolitics, counter terrorism, serious organised crime, activism.
* Understanding of and application of the Intelligence cycle across operational, tactical and strategic levels of an organisation. Knowledge of cyber intelligence (cyber dependent and cyber enabled) is highly desirable.
