Conferences and Events are the lifeblood of our business. Your exceptional sales ability and magnetic personality is crucial in getting the best and the most out of sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

* Building relationships and networking

* Selling conferences and events over the phone, online or face to face

* Overseeing your staff training and welfare

* Controlling the use of rooms and maximising occupancy off them

* Always on the lookout to increase turnover

* Increase traditional weddings

* Target Asian wedding market

* Achieving budget Csales targets

The ideal candidate will display a passion for the events industry and have a strong track record in sales with a solid background in event delivery.

They will be proactive, hardworking and able to work under their own initiative. With a strong commercial mind, they must be able to identify opportunities for revenue growth and then strategically plan to deliver on these opportunities

You will actively seek out business from new clients and work towards increasing business with existing key clients. In addition, you will train, motivate and manage your team to get results, produce detailed analyses and business forecasts to maximise room bookings. This is very much a hands on role and you will be actively involved in handling enquiries and the day-to-day administration within the team.
