Job Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Head Waiter to join our busy Conference and Banqueting team. We have an array of meeting rooms which means we can cater for all sizes and types of functions from corporate business meetings, weddings, private dinners to large scale conferences within a luxury environment

Role Responsibility

The Head Waiter will be responsible for:

* Assisting in the running and execution of all functions and events within the hotel

* Running smaller functions as necessary

* Delivering outstanding customer service to guests and ensuring that all requests are met and satisfaction is achieved.

* Overseeing the Conference and Banqueting waiters and assiging them daily tasks

* Assist with the training and devlopment of staff

* Ensuring the highest service standards are maintained on a consistent basis

* Adhereing to Health and Safety procedures at all time

* Working alongside other hotel departments to ensure all events run smoothly and as per guest requirements

* Communication of all relevant information to the necessary departments either during or following events

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal Conference and Banqueting Head Waiter will;

* Have a proven record as a Head Waiter, preferably from within a luxury food service environment

* Experience in delivering exceptional standards

* Have an eye for detail

* Be a great communicator and primarily be guest focussed

* Be determined to create a memorable customer experience.

* Possess strong team leadership skills

* Be a great communicator

* Have previous experience in training and developing staff

* Be highly organised

* Have good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
