Being a Memory Maker as a Commercial Revenue Analyst

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Revenue in Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt


To optimize the room revenue for the group%3B

To ensure commercial financial fluency of the revenue, hotel and operations teams%3B

To identify new leads across all revenue streams and involve the appropriate members of the commercial team to develop these leads

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver daily reports to highlight the current trading position of the group hotels

To perform quality check on the work performed by the revenue managers, that controls and strategies make commercial and logical sense

Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting

Perform competitive benchmark studies, follow market trends, utilisation of business intelligence tools and maintenance of group wide information systems

To identify and fulfil reporting needs of the Revenue Managers OTA team eCommerce and F and B teams, where appropriate

To deliver reports and analysis on specific topics as determined by the Director of Revenue and to deliver such reports on a timely basis

Provide strategic steer and guidance to the C and B and London Meeting offices to ensure they are fully informed when assessing, analysing and quoting on multiple traveller bookings

Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity, includes but not limited to auditing our front-end systems audits Opera, HDBM/CHW, GDS, and web sites to ensure the systems are reflecting the correct revenue parameters and rate loading

Regularly check the input and the quality of data points (MDM, Opera EzRMS)

Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process

Regular interaction with the revenue managers to get first-hand knowledge of all revenue management issues and other key areas

To assist in the development of C and B, F and B and other revenue streams reporting

Any other reasonable requests made by management

The candidate must be passionate, hungry to sell Edwardian Hotels London, self-motivated, driven and target focused

An excellent knowledge on how to use IT applications: Opera%3B Desktop Publishing%3B and browsers.

Has excellent command of written and spoken English language

Is part qualified accountant, or demonstrable relevant and sufficient experience

Must have working knowledge of Excel, or any other capable spreadsheet software

Is able to communicate clearly and consciously with a positive attitude and upbeat and friendly persona and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, particularly with a non-technical audience

Excellent time keeping

Demonstrate the ability to proactively prioritise needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources

Ability to listen and gain and understanding of the clients requirements to be able to provide a sales solution from Edwardian Hotels London

Understand the hospitality industry and be commercially minded

Good analytical and numeric skills for fast data crunching

Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment

Knowledge of revenue optimisation and forecasting systems, processes and strategies would be beneficial to your application. Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs

Capacity to read situation, understand environments and respond accordingly

Well-developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills

High level of motivation, determination and commitment
