We are now looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our enthusiastic team.

Straight shifts, 40 hour per week contracts.

*** You will qualify for a new Enhanced Overtime Scheme. An additional £5 per hour for every hour worked above your standard contracted hours, for an agreed time period ***

Responsibilities of a Chef de Partie

We are looking for the right applicant to support the team and
take responsibility for a variety of sections in in the kitchen of Blue Smoke
on the Bay. This role has an exciting
opportunity to join a talented team in our centrepiece restaurant at Low Wood Bay Resort
and Spa. With its 3-meter double wood fire grill, open kitchen, wonderful views
and excellent reputation for outstanding hospitality and food, a concept
restaurant with a real buzz about it. You will also be responsible
for ensuring the team are fully briefed for service with regards to the
business needs.

Previous experience as a Chef
de Partie working in a busy kitchen with a variety of business needs and up to 120
covers with exceptional standards is essential. You will show excellent people
management skills and the ability to demonstrative innovation & drive,
exercise excellent decision-making qualities & be totally hospitality
driven. You must have excellent communication skills and be capable of managing
a variety of task for yourself and others.
You
will have knowledge of food and safety management systems and know how to
safely supervise all aspect of the kitchen with the junior team. You
will have a real desire to impart your knowledge to all chefs within this team,
especially developing our commis and apprentice chefs whom form part of our
English Lakes chef apprentice school.

Requirements
of Chef de Partie

Knowledge of menu costing
systems.

Have a strong background in menu
writing and menu training.

Have up to date knowledge on all
allergen details, laws and law enforcements

*

Experience of staff management
Inc. supporting and developing a junior team

*

Must be flexible and have the
facility to work shifts.

Track record of delivering
results through your people,
