Glencoe Gathering – Chef de Partie The Glencoe Gathering is located in Glencoe Village just a few miles off the West Highland Way. The Gathering has a growing reputation as a great place to eat and to socialise. The focus is on quality,contemporary dishes ranging from lobster and chips to char grilled steaks and fish suppers, right the way through to superb ice cream sundaes and frothy coffees. This busy restaurant serves in the region of 1000 covers per week alongside a busy and vibrant bar trade with great live music.
A hands on role, we require a very energetic and motivates individual that is prepared to go the extra mile alongside their colleagues.

Ability to lead from the front and have strong people management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Candidate Responsibilities:
Deliver quality dishes to sec every time
Work in an open kitchen in full view of customers
Cater for 40 breakfast and dinner covers daily
Food preparation and understanding of current food and hygiene legislation
Monitor portion control and wastage
Control stock levels and wastage and drive food GP
Maintaining and developing our standards
Able to work flexible hours including early, late and split shifts
Requirement to carry out cross departmental skill development as part of a team
Candidate Qualifications:
Food hygiene certificate
Understanding of HACCAP
First aid certificate advantageous but not essential
Experience of high volume catering
Previous experience as a chef de partie or kitchen trainee looking for a new challenge in their career
