We are looking for a Chef de Partie who is enthusiastic, works well under pressure and is dedicated to the team and to making our Guests’ stay Brilliant.

Hours of Work:
The Chef de Partie will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, working 5 shifts over 7, to include weekends and bank holidays.
Rate of Pay is £8.30 per hour.
Job Tasks include:
Supervision and Preparation of buffet Breakfast, buffet Lunch, a la Carte Dining, Bar Meals and Room Service for the Chase Bar and Grill in addition to preparing meals for the staff canteen.
Supervision and Preparation of Banquet meals and private dining including Weddings, Conference lunches and Parties.
Ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish as per the specification and monitoring the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
Communicate and work closely with the Food and Beverage team to ensure prompt service and full understanding of menu items.
Assist in the preparation of daily specials to develop culinary skills and creativity.
Assist Supervisory team in coaching and development of junior kitchen team.
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Manager.
Speak with others using clear and professional language. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others.
Standing and walking for an extended period of time. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
