Do you have what it takes to oversee the daily housekeeping challenge of a 400 bedroom luxury hotel? As Assistant Executive Housekeeper at one of Europe’s finest golf, leisure and business resorts, you will thrive on the buzz and excitement of this prestigious venue, facilitating the daily operation of the busy housekeeping department.
As Assistant Executive Housekeeper you are responsible to assist the Executive Housekeeper for the overall management of the department and the 10 newly built luxury Hunter Lodges. Your strong housekeeping management background, interpersonal skills and experience of working in a four or five star high volume environment will ensure that you have all the skills necessary to deal with the pressures of day-to-day housekeeping issues.
We are looking for a proactive, results-orientated manager with a hands-on approach and the ability to inspire and lead a team of approximately 60 people. You will provide monitoring and coaching as appropriate to maintain the exceptional standards of service and high morale of the department. A passion for the luxury hotel industry is essential, as is a strong character to deal with the day-to-day pressures.
Min 6 years experience as a Manager in a 5 star property of 300+ rooms and a team of 50+
Degree in Hospitality
Knowledge of the Opera computer system would be a distinct advantage.
£30,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience
