Set within a 30-acre estate featuring one of the UK’s most impressive arboretums, this stunning venue boasts a Grade II-listed Victorian mansion house, 201 bedrooms and 12 impressive event spaces as well as a newly created spa, all conveniently located just 20 minutes from Bristol, with easy access to J14 of the M5. We’ve recently launched the 1853 Restaurant & Bar serving classic British dishes, our Atrium Bistro bar, decked with indoor trees under a 60-foot high glass roof as well as our elegant yet cosy Library bar.

Apprentice Chef de Partie
What is the main purpose of the role?
Our Apprentcie Chef de Partie colleagues really are vital members of our kitchen brigades; that’s why we offer an incredible £750 Welcome Bonus* to all new CDPs joining De Vere. Our Apprentice CDPs achieve a Level 3 Chef de Partie apprenticeship qualification when they complete our programme. You'll need to manage your time well, as you'll be working and learning as part of your development. You'll need to be hardworking, flexible and committed to the apprenticeship programme. As an Apprentice Chef de Partie you will prepare, cook and present dishes within your speciality and support and mentor / train any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs in the brigade. You'll assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus whilst ensuring your team have highest of standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety. You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop, and have the opportunity to join our Chef Development Programmes. Our Apprentice Chefs are seriously passionate about food, but we want you to love your career just as much. We have a superb Chef Academy, offering a variety of qualifications that run up to Sous Chef and Head Chef level.
Our hotels are vibrant and inviting, and so is our food offering across our venues such as our fabulous 1705 Restaurant & Bar at De Vere Beaumont Estate, 1560 Restaurant & Bar at De Vere Wokefield Estate, and 1853 Restaurant & Bar at De Vere Tortworth Court.
