The Role…

We are currently a 5 strong team, servicing all the UK sites of both Soho House UK Ltd (SHUK), Quentin (QUE) & Soho Works Ltd (SWL), for both suppliers and staff expenses.

The Accounts Payable Team is an important function that requires people with vision, the ability to deliver to deadline, embrace change, love excellent customer service and enjoy working for a dynamic expanding business in the hospitality industry.

The Team is responsible for payment of all food and beverages, overheads and expenses incurred by all UK Soho House Group staff, managing supplier accounts and resolving queries promptly and accurately and efficiently. This role will interface across all UK areas of the business.

Main Duties:

* Working with another Accounts Payable Assistant to ensure that all the invoices received into the business are processed in a timely manner and in line with the departments SLA.
* Processing invoices via ADACO and Trade Simple.
* Supporting any process and system changes that are implemented to ensure that Accounts Payable continues to delivery excellent customer service to the business.
* Assisting with the FnB Inbox, which will include but not limited to, responding to supplier queries, chasing houses to respond to queries and assisting with statement reconciliations.
* Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the line manager

What Success Looks Like:

* Invoices being processed in a timely and accurate manner
* Cultivating and maintaining good internal business relationships
* Gradually learning and gaining knowledge in a function within the AP Team with a view to career progression in the longer term

Requirements

* Some experience in an office-based environment
* Understanding of basic office admin tasks
* Processing of documents into a financial system would be an advantage
* Previous experience of using SAGE 200 would be an advantage
* Ability to focus and get through large volumes of work
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating an ability to adapt to change
