Daily Tasks May Include:
Greeting guests in a professional, welcoming manner.
Helping with checking- in and departing guests.
To help guests with their luggage and to direct them to their rooms.
To ensure all luggage in the storage area is kept safe and the area tidy.
To park and retrieve guests cars as required.
To provide guests with information about the surrounding area.
To open the door for all guests arriving and departing the hotel.
Help guests to find all the hotel services.
To arrange transport for guests when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry is highly desirable but often not essential.
Exceptional communication skills.
Good knowledge of the surrounding area with the ability to provide directions.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Fluent level of spoken English is essential.
Ability to speak any additional language is advantageous.
Excellent time keeping skills.
Appearance must be immaculate at all times.
Full UK driving license.
A passion to provide guests with a luxury service.
Salary Information
Hotel concierge jobs generally offer a starting salary of between £15,000 and £17,000, however this can vary depending on the brand, location and size of the hotel. For example, some of the more Luxurious hotel brands in the London area may offer anything up to £20,000 for this type of role. If you are looking to earn more money and progress your career, a hotel concierge job could help you gain the experience and skills you need to move through the ranks to more senior positions.
